Short Description:

XC Medico® Intramedullary Nail System, also known as XC Medico® Interlocking Nail System, is used as internal fixation to treat fractures of long bones of the body–humerus, tibia and femur by inserting into the medullary cavity of a bone. With more stability and hardness, but smaller wound surface.

In this system, there are humeral intramedullary nail, tibial intramedullary nail, femoral intramedullary nail and retrograde femoral intramedullary nail. Among them, the first three nails are suitable for fractures at any end, and the retrograde intramedullary nailing is a very good surgical option for distal femur fractures with osteoporosis.
